The West Fork of Oak Creek is a major side canyon rich with tall sandstone wall, beautiful springs, a babliing little stream, and some of the best technical slot canyoneering in the area.

Such a natural wonder bring in the tourists by the throngs, and is second only to Slide Rock State Park for visited areas in Oak Creek Canyon.

But it is home to some of the longest routes around, and a world of adventure....

Getting There Suggest change

Se reals miles south of the switchbacks is a big bend in the road, the pay parking area for access to West Fork. Check the park times to make sure you don't a get locked in.
