Description
The Rattler crags are the walls to the (climbers) right of the gully used to approach "Chips of the old Block" and Laundromat Tower. A few old climbs exist here and can be found in the old eastern sierra guide that is now out of print. Ask at Wilson's Eastside sports to check out the store copy. Besides " A Waltz for the few Remaining", the other routes likely have no fixed anchors and probably havent been climbed in years.
Getting There
Same parking and approach for "Chips off the old block" and Laundromat tower. Park at a turnout just under the powerlines. follow the sidewalk and trail that leads up the talus. Ascend the gully and pass the turn for Chips. look for cairns and a faint trail leading out right and continue for about 20 more minutes.
