Description

This large roadside boulder is home to several classic problems. A stream (from Lisa Falls) parallels the boulder, making for a pleasant atmosphere despite being so close to the road. Until recently there were about 15 problems on the boulder, but a 2013 rock slide and re-grading of the stream bank has more or less buried several problems on the southeast portion. Take Out (V2), Use the Crack (V0), and the V1 slab are mostly underground now, and the other problems on the east side of the boulder are now shorter to varying degrees.
Gate Buttress Area Recreational Lease: Climbs on Church Buttress above vault remain closed Details

Getting There

Located on the north side of the road, about a mile up from The Glen, where the stream from Lisa Falls crosses under the road. The back side of the boulder is in plain sight from the road.
