Warning Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

When hiking towards this end of the wall it looks like a series of 5 towers. Tower 143 is part of these. There are a few worthy cracks out here, with Golden Child being the best. It gets early morning shade, and gets in to the sun around noon.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike 20-30 minutes down the wall to the right of the slabs. You can follow a faint 4x4 road for most of it, and eventually end up hiking on top of a cool rock bench. Hike 100' past Tower 143 and up to the wall, toward the left side of a bench that leads to the right around the corner. In the corner before the bench is the climb called Consolation Crack. Golden Child is around the corner to the right.
