Neverland

Massachusetts > Western MA > Montague Wildlife Man…

Description

A small collection of boulders with plenty of V1-6 that is perfect for your first time outdoors. There are also a few harder things for those that squeeze water from rocks. No access issues, 60 second approach, and an actual parking lot!

It should be noted that a good deal of these climbs, particularly at the main crag, may have first been done by Ward Smith some 5+ years ago. Many years let this place grow back into obscurity, and it has only just been resurrected from countless piles of moss, lichen, and dirt. Dubbed Neverland because I never thought such a spot exists, and the young (read: new) climbers should have a blast.

A huge thanks to the WMCC for helping sort out access issues!

Getting There

At least according to Google Maps, the approximate location is 70 W Chestnut Hill Rd, Montague, MA 01351

See the beta photo for the sign you should be looking out for. Make sure you don't block the path in/out!!! At least 5 cars should be able to fit in the parking lot if nobody blocks the path.

Note that there is a kiosk further in. Do not park past this kiosk, as it marks the boundary for motorized vehicles.
