Description

The Far East is comprised of the eastern half of the Central Wonderland and is a wild and beautiful place with a great selection of climbs guarded by a long approach and sometimes difficult route-finding and hiking in the boulder-choked canyons.

The area is bordered on the west by Boulder Canyon, on the east by the flanks of Queen Moutain, on the south by the Wonderland Wash and on the north by the Lost in the Wonderland Wash.

Crags here include:

Getting There

Approach as for the Freak Brothers Dome, head east passing The Red Obelisk which opens into a valley and head northeast which will lead to the mouth of Boulder Canyon where some of the routes are located while heading more east and then north in the Wonderland Wash will access additional routes and formations. Plan on a 35 to 60 minute approach for the crags in this portion of The Wanderland.
