East Fork Pinnacles

Description

South of Wolf Creek Pass is the East Fork of the San Juan River. This crag is 4 miles up the East Fork Road from US Highway 160. Park in the big grassy meadow. Do a 5 minute scramble below this south-facing crag.

Pinnacle Wall is welded tuff and of good to great quality. Spicy Tooth is completely different and loose to very loose. The East Fork Road is closed Nov.-May (?), but this crag is climbable year round if you don't mind skiing or biking 6 miles round trip.

Getting There

It is 4 miles up East Fork Road.
