This climbing area is intertwined with monasteries and pagodas. It is critical for climbing in Myanmar to maintain these relationships through respectful conduct with the monks and the surrounding areas. Please be modest, respectful, friendly, and responsive to the wishes of the monks and local people. Do not climb on religious monuments, and remove shoes when crossing over established pagoda areas.
Description
Fire Wall is home to a good number of climbs that vary in style and length. All of these routes were bolted by Tyler Hoffart and Winko. The rock at Fire Wall is still cleaning up and it is highly advised to wear a helmet while climbing, belaying, or if someone else is climbing. Generally speaking, the rock on the shorter routes of the left side of the wall is more solid than any of the routes that go to the top of the wall.
NOTE: Many of the routes at Waterfall Hill are missing the hangers off of the first couple of bolts. You can either bring a couple of hangers and nuts for 3/8" bolts, or fashion a long stick clip once you arrive.

Getting There
Walk up the road from the monastery, pass the tea house (on your left) and you will see the massive, red Fire Wall on the right side of the road. Cross a bridge on the right side of the road walk up about 50 yards and look for a faint trail on your left. This trail leads you through the woods a short ways to the base of the cliff.
