B. Recessed Slab

Colorado > Golden > Lookout Mtn Rd > Tiers of Zion > C. Lower Tier

Description

This short, smooth face sits between the East and Middle Walls but does not reach the ground where they do. Instead, you must make a dirty step up past the right edge of the East Wall. The angle and character of the Recessed Slab is similar to the East Wall.

Getting There

From the top of the approach gully for the East Wall, you must scramble up a short step just to the right of the start of The Burning Bush and into a little copse of shaggy-bark cedars. The start of Don’t Rock My Boat is immediately on your left; the starts of My Feet is My Only Carriage and Cornmeal Porridge are a few more mossy steps up to the right.
