DescriptionAlso known as the "Balls Wall," The Ball Creek Wall is is situated among old-growth timber and moss covered granite boulders. The murmur of Ball Creek adds a pleasant ambiance to the 40 meter wall. The climbing style varies from slabby to overhanging, and provides some of the most unique granitic features found in this area. This crag provides a respite from the sweltering valley temperatures in the summer, but is often accessible as early as May. The climbs vary in difficulty from 5.6 to 5.12 with plenty of room for development. Although a bit further from civilization, the quality and setting are well worth a visit. Most routes are set up for leading, but some routes can be top roped via a walk-around on the left side of the crag. No Cell Service.
