DescriptionSome of the best granite bouldering I've ever seen. Most boulders are 20-30 feet in diameter. A handful of highball routes. Surprisingly forgiving on the hands.
Because of its isolation, you'll have likely first accents (or at least claim some) on many of the routes you do here. Hardly anything is named.
Please be respectful of the area and minimize your impact. This is a desert environment so very little will decay, even compostable items. Pack in, pack out. Be respectful of the indigenous population's view of the area as a sacred site among those in their society.
Getting ThereDevils Marbles is located within the "Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve", on the Stuart Highway, 393 kilometres north of Alice Springs and 105 kilometres south of Tennant Creek.
The nearest roadhouse to the Devils Marbles is Wauchope. The Conservation Reserve has camping, picnic, BBQ and toilet facilities.
