The Echo Canyon climbing areas are located within the Henefer-Echo Wildlife Management Area. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources closes all access to the WMA each year from January 1 to the second Saturday in April (and sometimes longer) to protect wintering wildlife.
Description
Bear Hollow is a side canyon to Echo Canyon with two established climbing areas so far. Short approaches and a good number of moderate routes make this a popular area. The rock is decent quality conglomerate (helmets recommended).
Note: Glue-in bolts are catching on as the superior choice for this type of rock.

Getting There
From I-80 take exit 169 and drive east for 2.7 miles to a large pullout on the left (north) lined with large boulders and a sign reading "Death's Rock". Clint Eastwood Wall is a short walk to the first obvious cliff face. Bear Hollow Wall is on the same cliff band several yards left of Clint Eastwood Wall.
