Description

The Spoot is the tower left of Dr. Rubos Wild Ride, while walking up the Sugar Loaf trail.

Getting There

From the Sugarloaf Trailhead parking follow the Teacup trail north. After about 10 minutes follow the left fork of the trail and keep left. Locate the big Coffee Pot formation in front of you to the right, Dr. Rubos Wild Ride in front of you and to the right of Dr Rubos the "Spoot" tower. Find and follow a drainage to the base of the formation.

Spoot Rock from Rubos Wild Ride patio. Contour around, dropping down slightly then back up to gain the limestone band that takes you over to Spoot Route. Or drop into main bedrock gully and climb up towards limestone band.
