Description

Please DO NOT access Hunter Bluff. The Nature Conservancy has posted No Trespassing signs on the border to their property. Please be respectful and honor these signs. If there are any question, contact the Western Kentucky Climbers Coalition.

Getting There

Please DO NOT access Hunter Bluff.

Gear

A standard rack will cover you on all routes. 60m rope, quickdraws, slings, helmet, a small set of cams and nuts. Access to some areas are easier from the top of the bluff, so a static line may be an item to have handy if you wish.

Other gear to consider: crash pad, first aid kit, tape, crack gloves, bug spray, machete, and a stick clip. Because these are developing areas, it’s also a good idea to bring your brush kits.

The December ’21 tornado removed a lot of trees cover and available shade. It’s wise to bring sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water.
