The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that: 1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor. 2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.
This boulder sits above the main area. It gets early morning sun; good on cold days, not so good on warm ones!
It has a spectacular under cut roof, which on first inspection looks impossible to climb, but with a closer look there are surprisingly good holds available.
Getting There
Walk about 50 yards north up the hill from the main area.
