Getting weather forecast...
DescriptionProbably the best time of the year to climb would be the winter or spring. Depending on the route one could climb in the early morning or late afternoon of summer. No crowds at the pinnacles themselves but noisy from the crowds hiking the trail below.
The rock quality is pretty good, looseness will be encountered though.
PLACING BOLTS IS ILLEGAL IN THE SUPERSTITION WILDERNESS! Details
In the early '90's the USFS banned all placement of bolts in the Superstition Wilderness. This unfortunately includes replacement of existing bolts. Violating this ban may result in climbing restrictions on this beautiful area. Please think twice and go bolt somewhere else.
Getting ThereHike up the Peralta Trail between 40 and 50 minutes. The four pinnacles that makeup the Nosepicker group will be less than 15 minutes off the trail. Once off trail hike the steep slope to your pinnacle of choice. We were at the base of the largest pinnacle (Nosepicker) in less than 1 hour from our car.
