Description

Located close to the park entrance and well known for its pocketed climbing style, Cazuelas is popular year round due to its high concentration of routes, varied grade range and shaded position in the canyon. The rock here tends to be smooth and unforgiving for those with sloppy footwork and climbs are generally harder than they first appear. This was one of the first areas climbed in Huasteca and still a favourite of many locals. The crag is best distinguished by its position to the incredible, palm topped peak of Pico Licos located on its upper left flank.

Getting There

From the entrance of Huasteca, Continue for 0.5km over the first bridge and you will see Cazuelas on your left hand side. Park in the large car park to the right directly after the bridge and cross back over the road to the wall.
