Access Issue: Climbing permitted, but keep a low profile Details

Lou Cerutti adds: On our way in yesterday we were stopped by a quarry employee who initially tried to deter us from entering adding that we were on private property and that they never catch the climbers they see up there. After a friendly chat he decided to let us go. I suggested I'd be happy to speak with the owner and left him my phone number. I never heard back but we may want to add some info about keeping a low profile there.

Description

The east side of Cougar Crag.

Getting There

Turn right on the approach.

Park on the side of the road in one of the gravel/sand turn outs.

The trail starts at the road near the curve warning signs. As you approach it, it will be very obvious. It is to your right when facing the face of the crag. Can’t see it from the first turn out but it is there.
