Description
Medium sized boulder for the Buttermilks. Has a good beginner slab on the back side and quality face climbs on the front. Lots of slopers and crimps with great top outs.
Getting There
The Egg Boulder lies directly downhill and across the train tracks from the Biker Area. The legal approach is to park at, or across the street from, the paved 42nd St lot. Take the footbridge across the tracks and head left on the trail. The boulder is not too far off the trail, but keep an eye out for it on the left. Can also be accessed by walking downhill and across the tracks from the biker area.
