Description
This is the tranquil, west facing gully separating the two summits of Moon Rock. Here you will find a number of moderate, sufficiently bolted lines ranging from 5.6 to 5.10. Refreshing, brainy climbing makes up of the majority of area. The routes in the Cool Aid Gully are intriguing and the nature of the rock, in addition to the involvement required for each line, makes these routes feel longer than they look.
Pack a minimum of 10 draws and maybe two slings? A 60 meter rope is adequate for the area.
Getting There
Enter White Rocks and bare left at the fork in the road separating the Moon Rock formation. Continue rounding Moon Rock for another 1/4 mile or so until you see the obvious gully on your right. Maneuver towards the gully using existing dirt roads and park when the cease. Locate a pre-exisiting trail that parallels a stream bed.
