Monte Gusela is a spire of rock sitting right off the road behind the large car park at the top of Passo Giau. It has some moderate traditional routes on the SW face (Dallago, Pia) and some very difficult 200 meter sport climbs (7c to 8a on 5.13)on the steep blank appearing south face (lit up by the sun on the photo on this page). The approach is only a few minutes from the car park.
From Cortina d'Ampezzo, drive west towards the Falzarego pass. After 5 miles, turn left onto the road going to the Passo di Giau and drive all the way to the Pass. Park there and walk to the north (the closest piece of rock due north behind the bar is the Monte Güsela). Approach time 15m.
