Getting weather forecast...
DescriptionTrad and sport routes, many TR friendly. The rock is quartzite bedded about 70-80°, making for slabby climbing. This rock is of much higher quality than the nearby chossy routes in the Narrows.
Consult Mark 'Indy' Kochte's excellent guide for lots of info on Maryland climbing.
Ownership unclear Details
While ownership of the rock is unclear, one must cross train tracks to get to the rocks. These are indisputably privately owned and you could be arrested if caught crossing the tracks. Tread lightly.
Getting ThereCross the bridge over Braddock Run near the intersection of Alt. US 40 and MD 36. Either take the first right past the bridge and park near the tracks, or park off the road across from the auto dealer. Do not block the brick utility building.
Cross the tracks and scramble uphill beside a retaining wall to arrive near the base of TimBarb wall.
