DescriptionJust about this entire area is located in what is known as the Pando Forest, it's pretty cool, google it. Sunny all day but usually has a nice breeze. Never crowded and very secluded. Rock type is rhyolite or andesite, not really sure. The quality is pretty good for the most part. About 50% of this area is on BLM, the the other 50% is mostly national forest and there is some private land. Walking off is easy on almost all the boulders. Cell reception is so-so with verizon. This area is brand new, so cleaning with brushes is fairly essential, so bring a stiff nylon brush!
