Description

The Hi Boulder is about 20 seconds from the small parking lot, directly behind the sign splitting the trail to the Main and Orange Crush cliffs. Looking from the sign, the side to the left has a nice face, about 10 feet tall at the highest, with a plethora of holds. It is a great spot to warm up if you are going to be bouldering nearby as you can cruise around on it to get the blood flowing and the landing is nice and flat.

Getting There

Take the main path that parallels the road west from the small parking lot and immediately turn right at the first trail sign. This trail then immediately meets another sign and splits at a 'T', right up to Orange Crush and left up to the right side of the Main Cliff. The Hi Boulder is directly in back of this second sign, between the two trails.

This really needs a better name unless somebody is going to put up some routes called "Hey Fellas" and "Hi There" Dec 12, 2014

Tim, this is the correct boulder for Climb High and McCandles? I just gave the boulder a quick name for organizational purposes (plus it is the intro boulder at the start of the trail). If anybody has anything better in mind, let me know. Oct 15, 2014
