This area is owned by the city of Norton and brand new for climbing. The SVCC is in the process of getting an MOU in place with the city. Being respectful and low key will help us proceed with this process. Also be careful for loose rock on new climbs

Description

This area has good potential for some difficult bouldering and a few offerings for fun routes. It stays mostly shady and is very secluded.

Getting There

There are two ways to get here
1. Park at the reservoir parking and take the trail to the right of the reservoirs all the way down past the lower reservoir to where is breaks right. This way is long but easy.
2.Park at the flag rock overlook and look for a gated access road next to one of the pavilions toward the front of the overlook parking. Follow this access road down toward the lower dam. Before getting to the dam turn left accross the culvert bridge and wind along the creek until the trail cuts uphill. This will bring you in beneath the sanctuary. It is a faster approach but the trail is not complete yet.
