Description
Bouldering on the north slope of a hillside below a short rock band and east of Ashley Creek. The areas is on dirt and has many boulders of sandstone. Routes are clean though some are grainy. Most of area lends itself to V0-V3. There is some potential on some boulders (Rock of Ages)for harder problems. The ares is about a mile long and .5 miles wide up to and including the cliff band. Landing areas can be muddy in the spring if winter is wet.
Getting There
Driving roads Vernal from Roosevelt on US 40 turn Left at about marker 141. Drive north on 2500 West for nine miles and take dirt road to left bearing left to creek and parking. Parking anywhere in the last mile will get you to bouldering. Option. .2 miles before the turn to left, there is a two track that will take you to the middle of the bouldering. 4 wheel drive may be necessary depending on conditions and clearance.
