Description Suggest change

The Moiazza area is the group of summits just South and East of Civetta. A high col separates the main Civetta massif from the Moiazza section of mountains. These areas however are essentially conjoined and surrounded by a web of trails and huts. The southern aspects of the Moiazza massif is covered with routes - many traditional lines, many sport climbs and a fantastic, long Via Ferrata (Gianni Constantini) that consists of over a mile of cable up to the summit of Moiazza sud.

Getting There Suggest change

The southern aspect of the Moiazza area is accessed from Passo Duran via path 549 then 554. One can also come in from the North West out of the Vazzoler hut or out of Listolade (drive up to Cap. Trieste and park) via path 555 then 554 but this is a longer approach and probably would not be done unless you are doing a hut to hut hike and mixing some climbing or Ferrata in with your hike.
