Middle Ice Caves (Potato Routes) Rock Climbing

This area is most often accessed from the Feline parking area which is found 0.6 mile from the park entrance station. The parking area is a large pullout on the left (west) side of the road, immediately across the creek from the obvious chalk-streaked Feline route. To access the Potato routes, cross the bridge and head down canyon, passing the gray cave where Chud resides and the Funny Face. The barren belay zone below Do the Mashed Potato is obvious after passing through the vegetation.

Alternatively, you can hike Koper's Trail from the Lower Ice Caves area to access these routes.
