Description
A dark black cliff band of Andesite, with aesthetic kelly green lichen splotches and stripes. Quality 20-30m sport and trad routes exist along the entire band.
This area faces SW and is generally very sunny/hot in the summer between 11am-6pm.
This cliff band is on the NE side of the canyon of Fiddlers Hell, shown on this Forest Service topo: data.fs.usda.gov/geodata/ra…
Getting There
From La Grande:
> North on Fox Hill Road
> At fork in road, turn right (NE) on Crampton Road
> Left (N-NW)after 4.3 miles
> Park in small pullout after 1.2 miles
> Trail on SW side of road, take downhill to crag
> At ATV trail, walk 10-15 feet left to regain trail downhill to crag, which will begin to switchback down to crag
At the crag, you will encounter the sub-areas in the following order (also left-to-right):

- Strings
- Center Stand
- Concert Hall
- The Balcony
