Getting weather forecast...
DescriptionThe Hüttenwände are composed of 4 blocks which are all relatively unspectacular and very jumbled. I spent a long time staring at the climbing book and the 4 blocks trying to make some sense out of them and how the book corresponds to the existing routes. What's particularly confusing is that the via-ferratas are also listed amongst the sport routes, making it difficult to differentiate between the two. Also, the bolt-count doesn't always match the book, and there are several anchors placed at half-height on the Lärchenturm, which aren't depicted so in the book. Hopefully my route descriptions correctly match the name that they're applied to.
The 4 blocks are laid out so, from left to right: Glatzkopf (more behind than left of Ursulaturm), Ursulaturm, Lärchenturm, and Kalkofenkopf. The Kalkofenkopf is most easily recognizable in that it is directly above a door which leads to a room below this block. The crag immediately left of it is the Lärchenturm.
