Description

You could easily say this boulder is located on the US Highway 395. While not directly on the highway it sits really close, and ironically if it wasn't for the highway, it would not exist - at least in its present form.

The boulder is a fairly recent addition to the area as it slipped of the hillside a few years ago.

Not exactly a destination venue, it can provide some fun entertainment for folks bouldering V5 and above. Climbable all year round - some of problems definitely need cooler temps for good friction.

Getting There

The boulder lies 6 miles south to Walker on the 395. Located west of the highway in the large turnout it is difficult to miss.

Hey, I think I mistakenly moved this into the Central Sierra earlier, but after looking at some guidebooks I see it's probably considered an Eastside area since it's right on 395. Let me know if it fits somewhere else better organizationally! Jan 14, 2015
