Description
East-facing, Pigeon catches the sun in the morning and is usually sheltered from the prevailing Westerly wind.
It is 10 minute walk (quite steep) from the car park, so is one of the busiest crags in the Mournes.
On the right side of the crag there is a change in rock type from the usual Mournes granite - a capping layer of shale makes the climbing feel completely different.
