Description
This is a nice area that has a good concentration of 5.9/ 5.10- sport climbs. To find the routes, you must first negotiate a slot canyon of sorts - super cool! The canyon opens up to a shady room (in the am) that contains the routes.
Getting There
From Gunnison, take road 38 south for 2.4 miles to the Hartman Rock turnoff (left turn). Head up the steep Kill Pass summit and make a right turn on the 2nd road that turns left at mile 0.7 mile (Rd. 3510? I think). Travel down this road 1.3 mile to a turn out on the left that has a fence post blocking an old road.
