This mountain has many different routes that are all lots of fun and have great views of the city.
Routes no longer than 160 meters. Its a very traditional crag in Rio. Easy to get there using subway. There are more than 40 routes, varying from wide chimineys to multi-pitch strong sport climb and cracks on gear.

Getting There

Located right in Zona Sul, it's an easy approach via foot from the subway or a taxi. Cantagalo is located next to the Lagoa Rodrigo Freitas and divides the neighborhoods of Ipanema and Copacabana. At the first anchor. There is another anchor a bit higher that I would recommend as the next section is overhanging and makes it hard to see the climber.
