Description

The Overlooked Pinnacle is a large tower just downhill from the Windy Point overlook (although it is not typically approached in this way). It is easily seen from the approach to Hunchback Pinnacle as the foreboding red face to the right. It is home to a couple sport and trad routes, the most obvious being the blank Grape Nut 5.13- in the center of the red face.

Getting There

Park at the pullout just below Windy Point as for New Wave, Wind Wall and Hunchback Pinnacle. At the up-road end of the pullout follow the drainage down as for Hunchback but cut right over to the base of Overlooked Pinnacle (multiple routes are possible through the manzanita and talus). No more than 3 minutes from the car.
