Description
Kemitzenstein is ideal for beginners and families. You can easily set up top ropes here, as the tops of the crags are easily accessed. And there is a nice flat lawn for the kids to play on. There are also benches and apparently a playground, but I didn't see it. There are a total of 22 defined routes (most sharing anchors) and several boulder routes and traverses.
Getting There
Kümmersreuth lies north-east of Scheßlitz and Stübig. Drive there. On the north-east side of town, right before the edge of town is a road on your right (when on your way out of the town). Turn here and you should immediately be able to see a small sign pointing to the left that says Kemitzenstein. You aren't supposed to, but you can follow this road nearly 1km and park near the "Naturfreundehaus", or you could do as the guidebook asks you to do and park at the edge of town and walk the 10 minutes to the crag.
