Description Suggest change

Riparian bouldering area. Unbelievably good stone, mostly easy stuff, and good warmups for the harder rigs at the Bay Tree Boulders. Most of this stuff is water-level dependent, but it's been pretty drought-ridden for the past few years. Expect mostly flat, stony landings.

I've hiked past these stones forever, and occasionally bouldered some of the more obvious lines. I figured it would be appropriate to mention their presence, especially if folks get interested in the Bay Tree boulders, which are another 15 minutes up the trail.

Getting There Suggest change

Start hiking up Cold Springs trail, and after about 5 minutes you'll come to a bench. Thar lie the boulders.
