Hillside

Massachusetts > Eastern, MA > Milford Bouldering

Description

This is a fairly large area. Also it is fairly new. This is the hillside between Atomic Boulder and The Roofs.

Getting There

Walk past Atomic Boulder. Where the trail levels out on top of the rise, Hillside will be on your left. There is a faint trail with orange flags to get you there.

Any info on these boulders? The one on the right has a tall-ish slab/arete climb.

[Hide Comment] It seems like there’s a ton of potential for this area. Is there currently any development going on, any plans for a better trail to the area? Nov 7, 2020
[Hide Comment] Several crews have been through there. I know some lines have been done but not listed. Probably was a better trail at one point but grew back in. Nov 7, 2020
[Hide Comment] This area deserves subareas as it’s essentially a decently-sized boulderfield. Anyway, I’m able to rearrange some stuff? Atomic, Hillside, Robin Hood, Quarryland, and Powerlines are all part of one huge area that all can be accessed from the same parking area. Other parking may be available too. This specific area (hillside) will be confusing for anyone wandering if there’s not boulders listed separately. While not as good as the other stuff in Milford, I’d like to list stuff. Some lines have obviously been cleaned and climbed. I did a few that looked undone based on how they looked, but being Milford, it’s hard to say. I feel like there could be some reorganization of a couple things. Jan 3, 2021
[Hide Comment] Dan, you should be able to add sub areas now. I can move the routes currently on here back where they need to go if you tell me where they belong. I’ll also delete the current placeholders areas once you’ve added new ones. Jan 9, 2021
