Description Suggest change

This creekside boulder offers a refreshing pebbled beach setting on hardened Eldorado sandstone. The quality off the problems are as good as it gets with airy topouts on the boulder's south overhang above South Boulder Creek. The east side of the boulder has been a favorite practice slab area for years and years with the overhanging south side of the boulder only recently becoming boulderable due to post flood of 2013 conditions.

Getting There Suggest change

From east parking hike up road, cross the foot bridge and head for the Whale's Tail Cave. The first boulder on the left is the Creek Slab. The south overhang is visible when looking up South Boulder Creek from the foot bridge.
