Eagle Mountain is the 3 mile long N-S trending ridge that is just west of the north end of the Bear Gulch Rd and adjacent to the west side of Friend Park[valley] which is at the west base of Laramie Peak. Eagle Mountain consists of three named summit. From the S end they are: Blue Jay Mtn, Jack Squirrel Peak and Eagle Peak the highest at 9167'. Point 8068 labeled on the 24,000 topo map is what we call the "Moose Tooth". Jack Squirrel Peak mostly likely has more steep faced rock than Eagle Peak. Both sub Peaks have easy access.
