Description

SHMB is the geometric stack of boulders at the extream east end of the Hill Top Area. Overlooking the Sport Park, these couple of rocks Stacked together have a handful of what I consider to be the best moderate climbs at the Hill Top cirque.
During late night sporting events, it is possible to get really illuminated night sessions from the near by floodlight, for variousness sporting engagements at the sport park.
No Headlamp needed but won't hurt!!!

Getting There

From parking lot approach, once you hit the field follow concrete drainage ditch up hill until you arrive at SHM Boulders. It is said that around 2002 the legendary Swedish/Norwegian Climber Sven Lavransen AKA Erik Lavransen. Shows up in So Cal and applying his 4X4 climbing technique, as he put it "Makes Flash" of every one of the hardest problems at our little coastal rock garden.
