Description

Glass Window Bridge is the only bridge on the island and underneath the bridge the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean come together mixing deep, rich blues with pale but vibrant turquoise.

There's a bit of buildering on the bridge and potential for deep water soloing on the Atlantic side but be prepared to be brave. Our taxi driver said if we did it, he'd drive us around rest of the week. Needless to say we hitchhiked instead.Be aware that conditions matter, particularly when climbing on the Atlantic side of the island. Waves can hit the walls and water can be higher than the 50 ft cliffs, so safety is pertinent.

Getting There

If you head north or south down the Queen's Highway, you'll hit it as it's the only bridge on the island. It is north of Gregory Town and South of Upper Bogue. It's literally impossible to miss if you're traveling through Eleuthera.
