Description

Lots of good stuff all over this area with the full range of bouldering moves available. There are lots of boulders, all not very far apart, with an orange, blue, red and white circuits.
It's also one of the most-visited areas.

Getting There

From Fontainebleau, drive in the direction of Milly/Etampes on the D409 and keep left when the road branches off towards Macherin. After about 1.5km further, turn left into the forest on the road Route du Loup. Continue down the dirt road for 500m to a parking area at the Carrefour de la Plaine de Macherin.

From here, hike on a southeast path for 100m to reach the first boulders.
