Per Stewart M. Green: the park has been reopened after the floods. Be careful to evaluate the rock integrity to preserve the resource and insure safety.
Description
This is boulder that is in a clump of trees approximately 50 yards east from the top of the wall which holds the KNS traverse. It is really hard to see from most any angle but holds some classic fun power routes. This is brand new, I believe. There was no chalk and still a lot of potencial breaking to be had (don't worry the core of the routes are solid). Since it is in the trees, count on some shade and cold without wind (though also know these routes were sent on New Year's Day). It is a great boulder! I am so surprised people haven't been on it before this.
Getting There
The best way in is to walk to the top of the hill then where the large path splits look to the right for a single track heading southwest. Walk along this an you will shortly come right upon the back (south) side of the Hidden Boulder. It is approximately 30 yards northwest of the power unit with the fence around it. Another way to get there would be to he to the top the KNS Traverse wall and walk directly east through the woods for about 50 yards. Keep you eyes open, and you will see it.
