Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek Details

WET ROCK: Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN MOAB during or after rain.

RAPTOR CLOSURES: please be aware of seasonal raptor closures. They occur annually in the spring.

Description

'Little Miss Sunshine' is a tower seperated from the wall behind it. The entrada sandstone here is pretty soft in places so if you prefer wingate, this tower is probably not for you.

This area in general is quite interesting and is becoming a popular place to hike but don’t worry, you’re virtually guaranteed to have the route to yourself. I would be surprised if it has been climbed more than a dozen times.

We stumbled upon this route on our way to 'Dick For' and decided to check it out. It's not in any guide book I have seen. If you know the real name of this tower please tell me and I will change it.

Getting There

Follow the directions for the Sunshine Wall. Once you reach the Sunshine Wall, hike southeast along the wall past 'Tower 143' until the tower comes into view.
