Access Issue: This area has a checkered history of climber impact. Details
Please make an effort to keep this area pristine and undisturbed. Pack out all your trash. Dispose of human waste properly (consider packing it out). Don't modify the natural environment. Brush off your chalk.
The Underground Chasm is a narrow corridor that splits lower Walt's Rocks. The routes in the corridor are bolt protected, vertical to slightly overhanging, and ascend generally good, highly featured rock. The rock here has a heavy patina which makes it highly climbable, though in places that patina is exfoliating. Shade and sun varies depending on the time of year.
