This long climbed but forgotten boulder, known to but a few till now, lays on edge of Round Pond down by the ponds outlet.
A series of old hiking/climbing trails brings one to this remote boulder from the Round Pond Boulder Field. To get there hike past the boulders and the usually swimming hole bear left when you can't proceed straight anymore. Keep the pond in sight and on your right and after about a 15-20 minute hike you'll come to the Sherman Boulder.
If you have a boat you can use that for quicker access or wait until winter/early spring and walk on the ice to reach it as well...
