I was out looking for these problems today, I didnt have much luck finding them. Any chance I could get a more detailed description? Sep 17, 2014

Thanks for writing up this area. FYI, I moved it into the Lassen National Park area, since the map shows it inside the park, and it fits well with the 5,000 foot boulders area already there. Aug 7, 2014

Nice addition! I was wondering about this spot...drove by it on the way to Tahoe from Arcata. You can see the potential from the road. So much rock in northern California, so few climbers... Feb 15, 2014
Excellent! thats great to hear . I recently moved to redding( this summer) and im having a hard time finding much in the way of bouldering and or boulderers. So i started "re-developing" this area as a way to at least get a circuit in and ive put up some really cool new lines. at least i believe they are new. It honestly doesnt look or seem like any body has done some of these. But let me know that way im not claiming anything:) Either way they are a lot of fun!

And plum Valley you say! I will check them out. I also have put up several problems way out off of the 17 road deep back by the forest service park service boundary. There really is a tone of rock around, but very little development and dense dense forest to rumage. Thamks for the insight! Nov 13, 2013

It's good to see that these boulders are getting some attention. We did a bunch of problems here in the late 90's and the moss grows back fast. I think there will be much more with some exploration in the woods. Also along 44, the Plum Valley boulders are located a couple miles from the overlook east of Old Station in Plum Valley. They are good quality basalt with decent landings and some nice tall problems. Nov 13, 2013
