DescriptionA 60 foot (highest point) cliff with a handful of routes from 5.6 to 5.9, and some bouldering along the cliff to the left and right of the main wall.
Great place to learn and/or to teach new climber "the ropes." Top roping is the norm here.
Stay on the cliff side of the creek. The other side is private corporate property and they will speak up.
Getting ThereOff route 16 near Mercersburg, it's an official state park. If need be check out DCNR's web site for directions.
Head into the park (one main road) and head to the back parking area. You'll see a typical state park restroom area, a loop/turn around and a creek. Follow/contour the creek to the right (when facing it) and keep going until you hit the cliff (3 to 5 minute hike).
