Description

The man-made "Bat Cave" up the trail from the last parking area on the left side of Canyon Dr..

Mostly bad rock on the outside, but more solid inside the cave itself. There are some fun problems in the cave, if you can find them. Doesn't see much climbing, so there's no chalk marks or route info. Bring a headlamp.

Getting There

Head up Canyon Dr. from Franklin and park at the last little parking area on the left before the gate. Then head up the large trail across the street for 5 minutes to the obvious cave entrance.

Has anyone sussed out the cliffs that are East by South East of the backside of the cave?? Looks like a hellish approach... Oct 27, 2018
Hi Alden, the rock in the canyon is generally pretty loose and crumbly. I doubt there's anything worthwhile or safe up there. Oct 29, 2018
